We like Columbia Harbour House for the reasons of seating you mentioned and it's fried food, but good. Flame Tree is rapidly becoming a top choice for a number of items, we'll have to try the drink. It's good to have choices for how you feel....and we try to avoid the hottest times of the year for the reasons you mention....it means you just don't want to eat. And WDW has plenty of great choices for that.

My favorite park quick service meal is La Cantina at EPCOT Mexico the nachos there are delicious, my favorite resort quick service meal is Sassagoula food court at Port Orleans French Quarter the gumbo there is delicious and my favorite disney springs quick service meal is D-luxe Burgers they have this amazing southern burger which is delicious and also polite pig their pulled pork sandwich and potato salad is delicious. Of course there's many more quick service meals that I love but these are my top ones
