Nat, brother, I'm glad you realized your gift. I can't express the levels of gratitude I hold for you, the Night sweats, and the almighty above for your music and how it helps with my PTSD.
May God Bless and continue to be you! Selah!

My veteran friend from KC area loved playing guitar. He was a pitboss for Sandia Resorts security, his post in the Army was Hawaii, monitoring comms between the bad guys. Ironically, he married, a woman of Asian descent, Japan I think.
I only had a short time to make his acquaintance, but it seemed like years we'd known each other, I from Oklahoma and he from Kansas City.
I don't know why, nor does it matter, why he had a falling out with his family(ex-wife?). The one thing that he asked of me was respect his wishes and observe his passing in quiet grief as he expired. At that point I was the only family needed.
He now resides at Sante Fe National Cemetery, where I plan on joining him in the future. It's not a gay thong thing 😂, I respected him as a person, and he responded in the same manner.
If this story strikes you, I would consider it an honor that you would incorporate the service of all voluntary service members and the sacrifices made by those with the cajones(women included) to stand up and swear an oath of service to the country, however messed up, that gives the freedoms we experience every day of our lives, in comparison to others we know.
Music, in and of itself, is a universal language. Mathematics, universal. Words, sketchy, unless you are familiar with it and are able to articulate what is necessary to perpetuate the generations come

With the exception of (possibly) being a writer, the visual and audio mediams are very forgiving when it comes to mistakes. It almost begs you to f up in order for a masterpiece to be created, lol!
Maybe. If not, move on, art doesn't hold grudges, judge, nor control you. Influence perhaps, but control only exists when we allow it to.
