Devblog 24 brings new information for scrap mechanic and chapter 2 as well as a bunch of new exciting things to come in the update of scrap mechanic, Chapter 2 will bring Scrap Mechanic survival out of early access!!!

They are in early access. They should use that status for it's intended purpose. Drop the ego and release what you have instead of pretending you're building up to a sequel for an already finished game.

Honestly, I love Scrap Mechanic it's one of my favorite games and I'm always very happy to see a new devblog with lots of new stuff and I think the devs are doing a good job but... I'm sick of waiting...
I know it takes a long time to develop a game with a team of 15+ to develop their own Game Engine but they could at least give us an approximate date or be more active on Twitter...

Spoonfeeding a bunch of engineers... Seems a tad condescending. We're no longer kids. Yes, there are kids that play this game too, but since the game's 6 years older, SO TOO ARE THOSE KIDS!!!

I dont get it, how hard could it be to add something like a shield or armor or something to boost health or ANY KIND of rpg progression into their game?
2 years ago I started playing with a bunch of friends. We got all the weapons (3 in total....) every crop and looted a couple of warehouses. Well... you still got twoshot by a tapebot so thats a nice feeling of progression there... After all that the game felt empty since there was no target to chase anymore, no NPCs to interact with, just an empty world with some random bots spawned into and some copy pasted warehouses and scrap buildings along the way. Great for a school project, pretty sad for a 20$ game.
Since we still had loads of fun and the game was marked early access I picked it back up lately to see what changed.

Well, nothing. Nothing changed. IN TWO EFFIN YEARS! NOTHING!
This game starts smelling like a scam and I'm soooo sad....

But hey, we got a new lighting system, so now at least it will look pretty when you die of boredom due to lack of content... I don't get these people and their priorities.
