Smoked Brisket and Rub:
How to cook the Brisket:
Rub the spice all over the Brisket front and back put in the smoker at 215 degrees for 12hrs or 1hr 15mins for every 1lb
How to cook the BBQ Brisket
Reheat the Brisket in a separate pan with any BBQ sauce of your choice cook until the sauce is bubbling.
Rub Ingredients:
2 tablespoon of black pepper, 1.5 cups of paprika, ½ cup of light brown sugar, 1.5 tablespoon of granulated garlic, 1.5 tablespoon of granulated onion, 1 tablespoon of kosher salt, ½ teaspoon of mustard powder, ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1 tablespoon of chili powder.
Fried Pickel Recipe:
½ cup of flour
1 ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
1 tablespoon of cayenne
¼ teaspoon of salt
¼ teaspoon of pepper
Slices dill pickles
½ cup of Buttermilk
1 large egg
Canola Oil
Mix all spices together, pour spices in the flour. Then mix together. Whisk the buttermilk and egg together. Let the dip pickle soak in the buttermilk and eggs batter, toss in the flour. Take the dill pickle out and redo the process again. Let it soak in the buttermilk batter and toss again in the flour to give it a good crunch. Put in the oil for 4-5 mins take it out and enjoy yourself a fried pickle.
How to make the make the Brisket Burger:
Use two 4oz patties on a grill or stove cook season with only a pitch of salt and pepper, cook to your desire temperature add two American cheese. Chop 6oz of precooked brisket cook at a medium temp with only BBQ sauce until its starts to simmer, fry 4 breaded pickles until there golden brown, toast your burger bun with butter. lay the four fried pickles on the bun, put the two burger patties on top of the pickles, dump the brisket right on top of the burger, top it off with the top bun and there you have it a Brisket Burger.
