I get a Segmentation fault (core dumped) on Amazon Linux 2023...
This is due to the fact that when using a static build (like the one from johnvansickle), ffmpeg cannot do DNS resolution and therefore working with remote files won't work. A solution can be found in the readme.txt file in the build: install and start nscd
