Very good video Brian. I personally gave up on Google in South Africa and recommend Alexa to most of my clients. The main issue we have here is that the routines menu is not available unless you manipulate with a VPN. The language and country settings don’t do much either, so I am a bit bias to Alexa for these reasons.

Great video big boy! ( awakward silence) you should keep it! It can be like a Hibbert stick! I was actually thinking about getting the spinning echo show but honestly google does about 90 percent of what alexa does. That site looks helpful tho. I wish samsung had an easier to find information site like that 😕 .... I see Google also has the remind when feature... the big Boys always make the coolest features better !

Once again you're doing great video content! Have you tried a happy birthday mr. President? Google's moving right along getting a lot of steam. Thank you for talking me into the ring cameras. I've had them for a while now and they now have the Alexa help system and that's included in the monitoring plus I got there to ring alarm system for the doors and windows I switched. I do not seem to have any down time with ring. So be good and don't get lost when you go to Sneaky Pete's. That sounds more like a bar

How can I get my Google Home Nest Max to recognize ONLY my voice? It seems that anyone who visits my house can tell it anything. This also goes for videos I'm watching on YouTube that trigger responses from it. 🤪

My Google Home does not function well with routines that they prompt me to set up. Ie when I am away it is supposed to turn off all lights. When I arrive home it is supposed to turn on lights to 100%. When it works it turns on the lights to nightlight mode. No matter how many times I have tried to rewrite this routine it ends up with the same result. As a result I decided to try a routine that would increase the brightness of a particular light to 100% by the trigger command "It's Dark In Here." Yet instead of following the routine it responds by saying "I'm sorry it is dark in here, perhaps you can feel your way around by the sound of my voice." That was not helpful at all. If you can point me to a resource on writing Google Home Routines I would appreciate it.

Is it only me, or is there a problem since a few weeks with CALENDAR and ASSISTANT? If I call to my Hub max (or any other device) the "When is my next meeting" or "What's on my calendar" I get the message "I don't understand". Even if I type it in my phone, I get the same. Also on the display of the Hub it is telling that there are 2 events for me on March 1, but if I press it then I get that she doesn't understand. Also pressing the alternative result she is showing, are not working.

Nice tips. Id like to tell google home to not respond for certasin things . Like "turn off the TV" I want her to just do it, not do it then tell me she did it. Any way to tell her to not brag?
