Now that I got the Magneboots, I can return to Batalita to use them on the ventilation shaft.

Surfaces like those will automatically equipped the Magneboots on you if you haven't done so, already. They're kinda awkward, because Ratchet can't jump with him, he has a stunted, sloppy run, and he can only attack with his Wrench.

It's a good thing to sequels made a better version of these shoes.
----------

On the other side of the city, look, the Plumber's back! He was fixing up the turret, but it didn't really need it. The locals of the planet just sucked at using it on the bombers. So show them how it's done!

Just keep shooting at the bombers until they're all gone from the sky.

Check your map for incoming missiles. They will start out as white dots and then turn to red dots when they get close. The orange dots are the bombers, themselves.

During this, you can also shoot down smaller fights. If you manage to do this once, you'll get a Skill Point called "Accuracy Counts".
----------

Shoot down all of the bombers, and the Plumber will reward you with a Metal Detector.

The Metal Detector does exactly what you think it does. It scans the ground for bolts. You'll see an indicator at the corner when you're close to a cache of them, while the gadget itself will point towards their direction.

The closer you are, the louder and redder its waves get. When you're right on the pile, the Metal Detector will suck the bolts right out of the ground.

If the Metal Detector points completely down with white waves and no sound, then you've likely gotten all of the bolts you can off the planet.
----------

Beside the "Accuracy Count" Skill Point, there was another one I could now get called "Eat Lead". All you have to do for that is to take a Sand Mouse with the Sonic Summoner and let it shoot down all of the tanks in the level.

You will have to do multiple trips back to the Sand Mouse house, because the little guy will only either last until it runs out of ammo or if enough time passes.

Once again, check 18:36 on how this planet's Trespasser lasers need to be arranged.
