SONOS ARC ULTRA vs Sonos ARC is it worth the upgrade?

Quick look at the current gen sonos arc vs the newly announced sonos arc ultra comparing the common features and whats coming new to the ultra model.

Largely most of the features remain the same but the bluetooth is a welcome addition as well as additional speakers and finally being able to fully spec up to 9.1.4.

The starting price is almost £1000 so let's take a look whether it is worth an upgrade or not?

It has been reported by somebody who owns a Sonos orc ultra is that there’s hardly any difference other than it’s louder! So I’m going to keep my original Sonos art!👍

Hi I am thinking of getting into the Sonos eco system lookin for a home theater system i have a couple thoughts ULTRA ARC + GEN 4 SUB + ERA 100 or ULTRA ARC + GEN 4 SUB + ERA 300 or just the new ARC ULTRA with the ERA 100's with No sub ( not a bass head ) would i be happy with either one or is one much better than the other ? and why love your videos they are so well done I am hoping you show a set up for these systems for i am not very technical lol thx for your time i look forward to your advice cheers from Canada

I am still on an old Sonos playbar. Im glad I waited and didnt go for the Arc right away. Seems like they cut the life cycle to my benefit. I will be getting an Arc ultra when it releases and move my old playbar to another room.. Thanks for the video. Finally looking forward to having Bluetooth..

Hi ..Bro ... I have watched many videos of sonos arc ultra in a day or two but none of the videos mention 4k dolby vision so I assume video passthrough in port is not possible if I am not forgetting.

I love my Sonos home theater system with the Sonos arc! I don’t don’t think I’m going to exchange for the new one. I’m gonna keep my original arc.!👍

I personally will not upgrade. I love the Sonos art and my Sonos gym three subs and my pair of Sonos fives for surround.! I’m a happy camper.!👌

Hopefully ur overhead channels will improve in similar ways that the ERA 300’s truly augmented the 360 .

The soundstage is way too narrow on the arc. If those two areas are addressed here, I’ll would be a true leap forward .

Sound of the arc ultra is very different to the arc, i am testing it for the moment, much more bass sound

Arc Ultra have a Sub included (50H). May be a normal User don‘t have to buy a additional Sub.
