Soft Warm and Deep - Can I wear white and black? - Color Analysis Q&A

As SWD can I wear white and black, my favourite colors, especially white, which is a big no for SWD? Can I wear natural and light lipsticks?"

I think she looks more cool than warm, and is probably a bright to medium, and deep. It's sometimes hard for us pale brunettes to tell...

I had this question too!!! I try to find warm whites and then put gold accessories with it. Black is trickier and does wash me out. I’ll wear it only for a funeral, and with warm accessories. I’ll wear a nice silk scarf that’s warm colored to wear around my neck with my black dress.

I noticed that if the black and white pattern is grayed out and closely mixed in together that it looks good on my SWD coloring. I just avoid bright dynamic tones, especially mixed together in larger patterns. But, I do have a bright black and white windbreaker in larger color blocks. As long as I wear a top that's in my season and worn close to my face, that also looks good.

Especially as a Soft, the Weight of the fabric has a lot to do with wearing black. I wear black at times but as V necks with more skin showing or as lightweight flowy fabrics. And as a Soft, I feel that makeup should be muted and without harsh lines. Keep your vids coming!

OMG . I have been search through your videos. I subscribe to you but I have never been able to see me. I always thought I was a cool because I have a bit of olive to my skin but her eyes and skin are like mine. Thanks thanks thank you thank you. I’m seeing a kind of green light olive to her skin and quite neutral, bit like my colouring. I find that black and white look good against the skin on my body but they overpower my more autumny, subdued colouring, especially black. It’s just too intense.

I have similar coloring and my favorite natural lipstick is Mac Twig. It’s a soft pinky brown that’s my version of nude.

Totally relate to this one and it’s hard for me to find someone with similar coloring! I love black but don’t wear it well lol I look dead in black. I think I’m close to neutral in terms of warm vs cold bc I can wear black in summer and don’t look like a zombie
