2013 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE Kodiak Edition 5.3L (Walkthrough)

I have this truck I love it! But THANKS EPA!! >:/ The Computer messed up thinking I had 80% yup thats right, 80% Alcohol in my fuel tank so it threw codes PO172 and PO175.. Yeah so! As the little guy they expect YOU~ to shovel out the money to test test test when all one needs to do in this case is a "FUEL COMPOSITION RESET" on say a Snap On code reader. What caused this? Yeah goes to show how DUMB the EPA has become with their threats to automakers, I digress, So! Do NOT Fuel up if the truck is cold, IF you fill up make sure you're travelling more than 7 miles after the fill up, also DO NOT MIX E85 and Regular gas.. the other, I haven't read yet but yeah! These things HAPPEN when you're travelling through states say picking up old cars! So what did they THINK would happen?! Sounds like RAILROADING to me! Thanks again EPA!! >.<;; Other than all that crap this truck is BADASS!! I too have the 5.3 V-8 I was told by O'Reilly's the Kodiak versions, only 10% were the V8's the rest are the 4.3 V6 which I love, but in my opinion FAR TOO underpowered for this size of Truck. They were built in Mexico but I say regardless, still a fine vehicle. I pull my flatbed trailer and have gone after old late 50's Chryslers and Plymouths with ease. It also pulled my buddy's 59 Imperial (One of the Heaviest cars ever made next to a 59 Caddy) and it hauled it NO PROBLEM. Like I say, watch the EPA crap, but other than that yeah! Great deal these trucks :) I'm very shy of 100k right now but so glad she is fine and will be able to enjoy again. I named mine 'Stomper' after those sweet 4x4 toys from the 1980's hahaha! These are Tough ones for sure!!
