When you have the notifications and quick settings set to separate you can swipe left or right at the top of the panel to switch between the two. You can also switch back to the horizontal app drawer if you change to custom sort. Alphabetical sort is vertical and custom sort is horizontal.

This update might finally make me switch to the S25 Ultra. I never liked the Samsung keyboard, but you had to use that to get the AI writing tools, so it’s nice to see you can finally have Gboard and still get those features. The whole aesthetics of the ui look really nice too. Really impressed.

I like this new ui. Some elements are going to need some getting used to, but I'm just glad that Samsung is doing something interesting or different with their devices. I don't care about copying or where they got the inspiration as long as they try more things over time. I wish they would do more with the edge panels. And I hope good lock has some things in the works as well.

One day after downloading one ui 7 on my galaxy s24 plus so far I'm loving it I'm enjoying the now bar and the new widgets plus the performance is super fast and super smooth regardless in its beta

Notification on lock screen to take a huge step back. Now to even view the title, you have to tap on the icon first

Good Lock's Lockstar used to let you put the clock all the way on the upper left however it doesn't anymore since One UI 6. I think this is a bug and I'm hoping we'll be able to move it to the top left again. The clock looks better on the lockscreen when it's on the top left.

Jimmy. Before I ask my questions, just want to say great video! Can you still use Google Wallet with this beta? In my state, we can use Google Wallet for our driver's license and state ID. I can't afford to lose that.

Are you still able to use 3rd party launchers in the beta? I run an extensive build with multiple launchers combined that is ergonomic for me. I don't want lose my aesthetics, ergonomics and efficiency.

Great preview! Any changes on DEX? Could you show us the changes in the pile picker, the new My Files, and app behavior on larger screens, as mentioned in the changelog?

I like the expanded icons widget thingy where you have multiple apps.

OneUI 1.0 was created for one-handed use but they slowly got rid of a lot of that with each update. I am glad they are going back to its roots, just wish they would do it even more.
