There is no doubt that Govt has triggered a appreciable initiative in the field of road and transport safety to reduce mortality rate by providing a rewards to good samaritan who help the road accident victim. But in my opinion this is not enough to tackle this issue, govt must noticed that most of the accident happened in India all are depend upon improper road connectivity, destructive road structure and No strict rules and regulations, So govt should need to tick over and be a proactive rather than post- active.

The initiative of rewarding the Good Samaritans for their outstanding services in helping the road accident victims, by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highway is truly appreciable. Also the law that states that there shouldn't be involvement of altruistic people in legal obligations will motivate people to serve in difficult times without being afraid of harrassment or objections.
But for the record, merely rewarding people is not enough for expecting good results, as there are many road accidents due to bad construction of roads. So, it is important to look into this matter as a whole.

From my opinion I think government really took a good initiative become of that people atleast help others in such situation and blessings also get from that person too..
Atleast our india will grow in this way and many lives will be save and the person who are not samaritan also allow himself to help people in such situation due to their greedy but because of that live of people will saved..I think one more initiative government has to do is help that victim too..by giving them money in their treatment..

it has been felt that there is a need to motivate the general public through cash awards and certificates to help the road accident victims in emergency situation and to boost their moral, and also to inspire and motivate others to save lives of the road accident victims

A good initiative by the central government which definitely encourage people.
Good samaritan who helps others now don't hesitate further. But govt. needs more initiatives like this so that we can reduce our fatality rate and more strict rules need to be their to reduce accidents. overall a must needed step.

This is one of best move by government to recognise Samaritan and reward them and as many altruistic were backing down to help because of all that investigation and bureaucratic work .so this would be best to recognise the Samaritan by the help of police, doctors . This will encourage altruism and this will result in less road accidents .

The concept of providing rewards to those samaritans is not only showing how govt making a brilliant efforts to reduce the death rate but on same time its showing a generosity to those people who want to help other but because of legal matter they avoid involvement and ignore the victim .The major death rate in India is because of road accident and not taking them to hospital at a time and lack of emergency service on hospitals well. The roads infrastructure in India is not so commendable and when the monsoon arrive we well know the condition of roads and traffic rules .The govt and state also spread awareness regarding this law so people help other without any barrier

It is very appreciable initiative that is taken by minister with the help of this initiative we can hope that the number of death tolls will reduce people hesitate to help road victims just because they don't want to involved in accident case but this initiative will help samartian who really want to help and cash incentive and certificate will also motivate to other people.

A very good initiative taken by our government. It will not only reduced the fatalities due to accidents but also will inspire for those who never understand the responsibility of being citizen and especially for those who wasting their time by wandering here and their . At least for getting reward, they will do some helpful work for needy people . This is undoubtedly a tremendous initiative but government should enforce our traffic rules and give strict orders of policemen who don't look upon their duty .
