I was wondering if HDR is the same as merged layers in your example?
After all, HDR is merging 2 or more photos together.

After merging the layers, aren't any of the previous edits you made now "baked in" and are no longer editable? Seems to me it would be better to shift click multiple layers and make adjustments with both of them selected. Is that possible?

I have Luminar Neo installed on my Mac. I have purchased their Power Bundle, looked at their tutorials, but still having difficulty with installing overlays and such. When I have written the company with my issue, they simply suggest watching the tutorial. Do you know of any videos that might address on how to install overlays, skies, backgrounds etc? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Jim, As always, many thanks for your wonderful videos about Luminar Neo. I just updated my Luminar Neo to the latest version (on my Mac Ventura). I am experiencing a frustrating performance problem - It is taking Neo a long time to open my large Canon raw images, up to a minute or more just to open one image file. Are you aware of this issue? Is this normal? Thank you.

All well and good, but what happened to masking in develop, structure and perhaps more. Now it seems that these tools blanket edit the image when used, unless I am missing something?

My upgrade failed several times, then it seemed to work but I lost my catalog. I decided to just make a new catalog but now the program isn't working, it opens for a few seconds and then closes.

I just updated on both of my Windows computers, and now Neo won't start up on either.

I've got the update sitting there ready to install on my main edit computer. But I'm unsure of the process for backing up my catalog before I install the new update. In the past, when I've done updates it completely removes all edited images and the entire catalog. I'd prefer to not do that this time. Any tips or previous videos you have on doing this update correctly and so I don't have to redo my entire catalog?
