I love the work that you do, its inspired me to get into photography but I have one question regarding these editors that people use.

As unbiased as possible, which editor would you recommend that isn't subscription based (one time purchase)? Ex. DxO, Affinity, Capture one, etc.

I Luminar Neo use it a lot, for the simple reason that I don't take that many photos to justify an Adobe subscription.

I wanted to ask will any of your updated presets for Luminar come out in the future? Thank you

Since an update (don’t remember which one unfortunately) Neo does not work any longer as a plug in, in my LRC.
I would fully switch to Neo if their catalogue would be more like LRC.
I even might make the switch per January anyway and keep my tens of thousands pics before that in LRC….

Luminar vs Lightroom: what would you users prefer in 2024? I’d like leaving adobe but…. Not really convinced since I use that software for work
I would find the time to learn a new software but only if it is worth it

How epic is your computer? Historically their software has run like absolute dog…. On anything that was ready for Disney cgi. One other problem, photo consistency. It’s so hard to make photos look like they’re from the same series, even with bulk changes, because the ai constantly reads different things. I’m sure it’s a good tool for people with great machines who want to post to instagram, not so much for more traditional photographers perhaps.
