Shara’s issue is almost certainly not his eye, though the UFC will play it off as it is. There are jurisdictions that will certainly allow him to compete, and I think Ohio (less strict definitions for the commission) is the main example that comes to mind. However, he is a head case who has been in swarms of legal/confrontational issues and has ties to both regions and officials that will not allow him to get a US/CAN visa, especially with the legal problems.
