I just stumbled upon your video and find it interesting. I am curious does the order of heavy low rep sets vs high rep "burnout sets" matter for this purpose? I tend to do a lighter weight set that gives a strong pump, even to failure at times prior to doing heavier sets, simply to expedite the warmup process and reduce the time required to get to working sets. what are your thoughts?

This is the way. I used to do 6x6 on the squat, bench, deadlift 3x’s/week with a certain percentage of 1RM progressing up each week. At the end of the 6th set on each exercise I would add 1 additional burn set. This would be at a weight I could do around 20-30 reps. The key to the set was speed and exerting max force on each rep. Doing this for 3 months straight was insane.
