The keynote impressed me in one key way -it addresses privacy. The assistance is all local as it should be. Who knows you better than your phone? The off device AI on Apple servers said all the right things for privacy.  I love that they are offering third party source code verification of privacy.
The microsoft copilot by comparison struck me as a HELL NO!
Apple inteligence is still "show me” story, but all demos are.
About upgrades -My M1 MBA is the newest apple device I have, and they all work better than the newer non-apple products in my house so I could be in for a load of apple spending. My iPhone is an 11 so that could be replaced this year. I don’t pay for any apple services, but these AI features could change that.
I can’t wait to see what developers think of access to AI features.

I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. I used to be in the apple eco system and then learned the flexibility that was outside. I just eliminated Apple one by one and now i dont even have a mac. Im just as happy as ever without the frustration of a vendor lock in. Money was never an issue for me. I had 3 macbook air and 4 ipads and 1 iphone and now im using a lenovo laptop. Just as happy
