I am a big fan of The Strokes, and the first time I heard “As It Was”, I felt there was some similarity with some Strokes song, but couldn’t really point out. Good video!

the simplicity in As It Was really reminded me of TAAT, the drums were quite simple, there's the same riff playing throughout the song (like the one in TAAT too). As It Was' bridge in particular really completed the Strokes vibe with the way he sung it (it's not rap, but not just singing either)
