I always give my girl friends, sisters etc. the Cold Steel urban pal. You keep on your key chain. It releases as a 2inch push dagger with a serrated blade. They can't get it away from you and they will be squirting blood if they try!!! Always have ready when approaching your car!😊

If you're left handed you can do that with virtually every knife. Found that out years ago and very helpful for self defence

I have a Cold Steel AK47. I really like the pocket hook. I don't use reverse grip much so it works well in that regard as well. Do you own one?...maybe an espada with the pocket hook?

That knife is designed to be used closed for pain compliance.
That's the big difference between a real self-defense design and others that claim to be self-defense weapons.
The thing is if you decide you wanna carry a knife incase something happens. Go take a few classes.
We are living in crazy times. Mental illness is let to run the streets. Drugs are everywhere.
Most importantly the courts are helping the criminals while the victims are treated as criminals.
Just a word of advice from someone that's experienced violence more then once in the cesspool of Baltimore city.

I carry my right side back pocket. So cool how fast it can snap open.

Tip up /tip down refers to the direction of the tip when closed and stowed.... if the pivot is in your pocket then its tip up.

...it's all about speed and accuracy with a blade (especially), because no one is going to give you ANY time to open a blade and get it ready....with this in mind, this is a wonderful blade/tool to do one or two things to stop a lethal Nicely done ma'am, be well.
