Mami’s voice actor also voices Alya in Miraculous Ladybug and Mahiru Koizumi in Danganronpa, and Homura’s voice actor also voices Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug and Monica Towa from Danganronpa. THESE TWO ARE LIKE THE BEST TEAM EVER.

To be honest Homura's right. It doesn't matter if Kyubey chose them, Mami is trying to paint being a magical girl as grandeur. Sure she shows the darker parts and that it's serious but not enough to tell them to steer away. She kind of pushes them to be magical girls like Kyubey which is dangerous and selfish. She doesn't give them the option that it's okay to back out and not do this.

1:05 It's funny because Mami was hostile af towards Homura, but Homura tried to warn Mami that Charlotte was different from the other witches. Might be an unpopular opinion, but between her recklessness, her nonchalance for the dangers of being a magical girl, her vast ignorance on it and trying to push Madoka and Sayaka into being a magical girl, I really don't like her. The death shocked me but what made it more horrifying is that it was necessary. Mami was going to let Madoka *make a contract for a fucking CAKE*. Anything she could have, but she was willing to let her waste it on a cake. That's pretty bad, even for being ignorant to the real consequences. She even told Madoka "Make sure it's something you really really want" so where the hell was that wisdom when she was tryna convince her to wish for the cake???
