I remember passing notes in school, times have changed my friend. The folding was definitely a art as well.

Yes! Folding the notes into little triangles was the bomb!

Yes I passed notes, I'm 49 years old as of July 11th, I always folded them just like that. I'm so glad you brought that up I'd forgotten all about those. Thanks for all the great memories.

My husband and I dated in junior high & high school and passed folded notes all the time. We broke up, graduated, and went our separate ways, but I still held on to the notes. We reunited 8 years ago, got married, and added to our family. We've been home together over the course of the pandemic, but we're always in passing with work, the kids, and household chores. For Mother's Day this year, he gifted me the art of passing notes again. We each find a few minutes throughout the course of our busy day to write each other notes, fold them middle school style, and sneak them to each other in creative ways. It has given us a chance to be even closer-- the best gift ever. <3

A tip to find the best DTs around is going on Yelp. Also, I was told that different stores are leveled by tiers. So a tier 1 store has more than a tier 2 and so on. You can ask what tier your store is when you’re there or you can simply call a couple before you go and find the one you have the best chance of finding more items.

LOL, yes, I am 64 and I remember passing those notes and folding them in the triangles, or a square! I was happy to see you shared something I already marble designed desk tray! I love it. Love all your other finds!

Yes my husband does not believe me that some dollar trees are way better than others. He says no they all have the same thing. I'm like no they don't lol 😂

Girl, I grew up in the mid to late 70's, we folded them up like footballs (your picture!), would nod at our friend, that friend would make a goal post out of their fingers and thumbs and the trick was to not only get it to our friend, but put it through the uprights! Thank you for the great memory!

The triangles notes, YES! And remember the folded up paper with one part that had numbers, one part had letters? You'd ask a question, like "What boy do you secretly like?" Then after three flips you'd open the flap and it would say maybe John or Tim or Harold, because what else was there to think about at that age but boys. This might make no sense to some, but if you know, you know.

I'm 42 and still have a box full of notes, cards, and pics from grade school. It's so fun to look through all that stuff. Those were the good old days! 😂

Passing notes and the way they were folded was the best part of school. Then passing them up the hour friend or a boy or passing them in hall between classes. The good ‘ol days!

I bought those little canvas collapsible office organizers to take when I’m traveling because they squish down to nothing. Then when you reach your destination, you can use them to hold small things, keys, jewelry, on the top of a dresser or desk.

Thank you, Kallie! I use those stackable glass jars to contain different pebbles for my planter designs. I make succulent planters to sell and gift and I needed something sturdy that I could keep outside that wouldn’t rust. 🥰

Best part of passing notes was carefully making that last fold tuck to make it perfect just in time for your teacher to confiscate it and read it to the class.

I wish I could remember where I saw it, but using those two-sided snack containers as an emergency kit in your glove compartment is amazing! You can buy the small packs of Tylenol/Ibuprofin/etc, a mini first aid kit, nail clippers, disposable masks, and any other small item that you might need in a pinch at Dollar Tree and sort them into each half. I even got one of the travel toothbrush/toothpaste sets, a pack of gum, and some cheap hair ties (stuffed into the little sauce container) to keep in mine. It keeps everything contained and looks really cute. I spent under $10 for my entire kit at Dollar Tree.

Omg yes! The art of note making. I kept a bunch too. All the ways we would fold them… so fun!

Second grade teacher here. Kids DEFINITELY still pass notes. The ones I have encountered have been so sweet!

The last one was written to a kiddo that was sad because her puppy died. The note passed to her said “You need to smile because your smile is awesome!” (I wish I could remember the misspelling because it made it even sweeter.)

I still have notes from my best friend who passed right after we graduated. So glad I kept them, great memories

Could you do a video of all your favorite coffee things? Favorite coffee maker, coffee mugs, coffee creamer, coffee syrups, etc.
