Alcatraz vs the Evil Librarians is a really whacky series with great characters and a lot of heart. It's one of my fave middle grade series

I loved the House of Earth and Blood! Specifically the main character development, and the deep themes of how friendship and love can get you through anything. I read the last 15-18 chapters over and over (the chapters average 8-10 pages each) just because of the emotional impact they had. Happy Holidays!

I’d recommend reading the prequel Assassins Blade before Throne of Glass. Know you don’t like short stories but they follow directly after one another so feel like one story. Also you get a lot more of Celaena’s back story and why she’s in the situation she is at the start of Throne of Glass. If you find yourself particularly disliking Chaol as well I recommend reading Tower of Dawn along side Empire of Storms. They happen at exactly the same time in the story so it can give you a bit of a break from him and doesn’t feel like a slog.

King Bradley is one of my all time favorite villains from any story in any medium, and one of the most badass characters ever. So well done. The episode where Bradley returns and storms his own castle is so amazing.

Dont feel bad about gifting! My partner and I had that same idea, it was a tough year and our families really went out for each other. Its not just about physical things but it was so nice to gather with loved ones and gift each other things that excite us and we enjoy! Ocean at the End of the Lane is the perfect Gaiman to start with and I agree, American Gods is not a favorite. Neverwhere is another good one to start with.
Also, a HUGE thank you for helping the Philippines. We’ve been slammed by earthquakes, typhoons, and volcanic eruptions, with a pandemic on top of all that. The support would mean a lot ❤️ Thank you.

Black Sun, House in the Ceroulian Sea and Elatsoe are on my top fav books of the year... i hope you enjoy them as much as i did!!!
House of Earth and Blood is absolutely glorious and way way way much better than i thought it would be... i didn't love Sarah's others books besides ACOMAF... i would suggest to check out the trigger warnings... there's a lot...
