The Sure Promises Of God : Consideration
The laws of God and the laws of nature are built on the principle of reciprocity. The principle of you reaping what you sow is an example of reciprocity. The cycle of rainfall is an example of reciprocity.
To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and the equal and opposite reaction to you being considerate and merciful to another human soul going through their crucible is that God will do the same unto you in the extremity of your situation.
Jesus said that whatsoever we desire that others would do unto us we must first representatively sow that seed ourselves. They are many things that God does unto us that are simply mirrored transactions, of how we have been a blessing to others. And this is so because life works in cycles and it also keeps us accountable to our actions and our attitudes, which is why we are told to love our enemies and to not return to them evil for evil. Because responding to evil with evil actually makes us evil. If we mirror evil actions then we re-create a cycle of evil, but when we return good for evil we break the cycle of evil that Satan tries to trap us in to steal our peace and faith and we establish a new cycle of good. God desires that we be creators of good and not repeaters of evil.
There is an exponential blessing guaranteed to us for helping the poor change their thinking and situation, and it results in us being preserved in our times of trouble. Because we helped others in their time of trouble by giving them the resources that they needed, it secures for us the provision of resources and deliverance in our own future troubles. This is a mirror. Consideration of others leads to the consideration of ourselves. So if I am inconsiderate to others in their times of need when I have the capacity to help, then I am being inconsiderate to my own future. When we sow the seed of consideration we will reap the fruit of deliverance.
