What you brought about feeling bad at my current level really hit home. A while back I apologized to my Portuguese teacher for still having trouble speaking. She said, “It’s only been 3 months. You’re good for a three month level.” That helped me to ease up.

The emphasis on personality types is also another salient point. As I pursue other languages, I am definitely honing on those personality types who are more similar to my own.
