Super Funk Mix 2 - Jazz Funk - Groove Jam The Legacy

Each generation chooses their own music. FUNK was my choice. Brass Construction; Movin’ 1975 and Atmosfear; Dancing in outer space 1979, was the songs that made me love funk. The first time I heard them I was hooked. Eddy Grant; time wrap instrumental 1981 is another great tune. It’s a bit crackly but still sounds good. Back then, it was all about the 12-inch vinyl and the B-Side instrumental version. I was still in school when these songs were released. So, I got most of my records then, by trading my toys and records in my collection with my friends. We called ourselves the three nations because of our different cultural back grounds, we had two things in common, the love of funk and the need to collect it.
When I was young searching for that big bass groove in record shops was everything to me. Take it home, playing it loud and dance. I would lose myself in the music and forget about the crazy world. Until my mother would shout, turn that noise down loll'🤣🤣🤣 GOOD DAYS,,,,,, also, some of the songs in this mix has been reworked by me.
