The Five was the first nonfiction book I read as an adult. I remember binge reading it on a family vacation. It opened my eyes to a whole world of reading possibility. I've been reading NF ever since.

Love hearing about poetry (I love it, too!) and graphic novels. I have read a lot of graphic novels this year and I'm growing to like them a lot. Your witch is wonderful!

Thank you for taking the time to show the insides of the comics/graphic novels! I'm definitely going to add Mamo to my list, I've always had a softspot for Boom Studios titles. I just finished reading Sabrina Imbler's memoir on your recommendation, really enjoyed it and found it to be very comforting to read.

I found where you had commented about The Five. I missed watching this video. Can't always keep up as you read so much! I smiled at you mentioning the details about the tin plating industry. I really enjoyed that bit and the other similarly detailed bits for example chap books.

Hi Lindy. I think I may be the first person to comment 😊 I love seeing your videos on Saturday morning here

Hi Lindy, your enthusiasm for poetry makes me want to start reading more Modern poetry.
I’m reading the five, and in the first Woman, Polly, chapter they mention a project where she lived with her husband that reminded me of the beginnings of the housing project that I was raised in. That was interesting. Yes it’s a very sad book and I’m reading it in spurts. Very Entertaining video. Aloha

I read The Five when it came out and it was one of my favourite books that year. I was shocked at how falsely these women were portrayed for so long.

Hi Lindy, just picked up The Five at my local library, looking forward to reading it. I want to thank you for recommending The Fabric of Civilization a couple weeks ago. I'm listening on audio on walks to and from work. What an interesting book; not something I would have picked up on my own. It is also making me curious to expand my non fiction reading.

You just love to wreck my reading plans don't you!? LOL! After watching your video, I read parts 1&2 of the graphic novel Mamo Tomorrow are parts 3, 4, & 5. I love the artwork! I also put a hold on ' the Five'. It does seem like a good pick for Misery May!

I love your witchy doll! I read Witchy about two years ago and thought it was very cute. Did not know that volume 2 was out. Have to look it up.

That witch is so darn cute! I love her feather hair. I'm currently in a macrame phase. Maybe I need to get back to felting again soon.
