I just realised something and it made me bawl my eyes out. Death also means rebirth, a new beginning. Lilia was able to fill in all of the gaps, and she will finally be able to live her life from the beginning. That's why we saw the hourglass rotating, signifying that the time is resetting. That's why her mentor said: "Let us begin." 😭❤️

It's very subtle, but you can hear Lilia put emphasis on the "ed" in "loved being a witch". She knew her journey was over.

Either Lilia got to go back to the beginning and live her life again…or she joined her mentor in the afterlife and begins a new journey. Either way it’s beautiful.

I love how this episode gave us a real look into how Lilia perceives the world. The jump cuts seem confusing at first, but it's the reality Lilia has dealt with throughout the road. The whole season has been poking fun at Lilia's weird behavior and making her seem like the crazy old witch, when in reality her mind is basically free of the constraints of time. Her power exceeded her ambition, and only in her death did she realize how to use it. One of the best episodes of ANY marvel tv show hands down.

The fact that Lilia spent centuries harboring so much guilt over not being able to save her coven when she was a child but was able to use the last moments of her life to save her new one — SOBBING 😭

the more times i re watch this, the higher i end up ranking it in all of the marvel tv/movie content. the emotions this brought out surpass most of the movies and shows. It evoked the loss of elderly grandparents and dementia, but done in a beautiful way. Seriously loving this project.
