ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Michelle is a public secondary Teacher II and the School ICT Coordinator of Tagumpay National High School (TNHS). Her commitment and passion for teaching won her the Outstanding Teacher of TNHS for three consecutive school years, SY 2019-2020, SY 2018-2019, and SY 2017-2018. Her project titled ‘Project CORE (Community of Responsible Educators)’ made her a Regional Winner in the 1st ICT Summit of DepEd CALABARZON and the Gawad Kampilan Outstanding ICT Coordinator of DepEd Rizal in 2017. She also received the Department of Education’s 2018 National Innovations Award for ICT in Teaching and Learning and was a Finalist in the same search for the ICT Innovations Award in Governance. She is a Quipper Enthusiast, a Microsoft Education Ambassador, and a DepEd National OER Core Leader. Currently, she is in thesis writing toward the Master of Distance Education at the country’s premier university and the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) National Center of Excellence in Open and Distance Education – the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU).
