Do you look for exoplanets? If so, maybe do a follow up post on the software you and equipment you use.

It's not just where habitable exoplanets are, but when. Life could have started billions of years earlier than earth, and have long vanished as that exoplanet's star main sequencing ended long ago. Or the light and electromagnetic information we receive today is up to tens of thousands years old and we have only a brief snapshot of conditions on the exoplanet. And some of these planets could one day support life billions of years from now, long after life on earth has ended before our sun's main sequence has ended and becomes a red giant and vaporizes the earth. There could be planets forming billions of years from now and eventually support life, but we will never see it. And they will never notice our planet as habitable once they become advanced.
