Wealth typically destroys the kids. You have to start with nothing and fight for it. Scratch, claw, kick, scream, etc. until you've earned a little sumtin sumtin. Our country has become incredibly wealthy, and that is the reason it is slowly turning to shit.

Dave didn't you once say that you're not going to give your kids anything? You'll only be there as a safety net if they ever absolutely need it, but other than that you won't be helping them at all? So are we supposed to do that, or be outrageously generous...which is it?
