I installed a stone patio several years ago. From what I see on the video. This is essentially the same process, with maybe a bit less sand on the top coat prior to install of grass / blocks

Any reason why you didnt put a weed barrier underlayment material? Have you had any trouble w/ weeds breaking through w/o it? I would love to do my yard how you did and avoid the weed barrier.

I've been installing artificial turf for years all over United States. And honestly you did a good job especially for it being your first install. I would definitely never recommend synlawn turf though.
