Cruel Summer - Official Trailer (2016) Danny Miller

Danny (Richard Pawulski), a teenager with autism, escapes the inner city for the beautiful countryside as part of his Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. Little does he know, that bitter Nicholas (Danny Miller from Emmerdale Farm) is hunting him, stemming from a lie created by the enamoured and envious Julia (Natalie Martins) and Calvin (Reece Douglas). As the three close in on Danny, Nicholas' behaviour becomes increasingly erratic and violent, Julia and Calvin must decide whether to go through with Nicholas' deadly plan.

When you sit through a movie that isn't your sort of genre but watch it purely because your favourite actor (Danny Miller) is in it lmao. Again, not my sort of movie, but he didn't disappoint. Hoping he gets into big movies some time in the near future. He deserves it.

I've seen it and I assure everyone, the character he plays is in no way like 'Aaron" on Emmerdale. I won't give anything away but he is not sympathetic at all here. If I didn't love him for years and this was the first thing I ever saw him in I think this character would be hard for me to shake off and like him in Emmerdale.

My god does Danny not get uncomfortable doing these stories involving rape? I mean yeah he's an actor, but I couldn't imagine doing stories like that. And it's nice to see him in a movie, I mean Aaron Livesy is the best thing on Emmerdale, but Danny deserves so much more credit. And hearing him swear is great, I am genuinely surprised he hasn't as Aaron on ED yet.

This is one of the best movies I have ever watched it was so well acted and I felt so bad for Danny and couldn't stop thinking about is parents and how they would feel about losing there son it was very heartbreaking
