Promotional cans in the UK have the code under the ring pull. On the sites FaQ's it says that the US codes are in multi pack boxes.

Tesco, sainsburys etc big stores, haven't tried Morrisons or Asda. the promotion starts tomorrow, so expect more cans around.

Yeah the code entering bit doesn't work for me on the US site for some reason :/ They need to fix their sites before launch!

You need an elite account to redeem the codes, so if Elite will work with PC then I guess so. In the FAQ it doesn't mention PC. Best to ask @ATVIassist on twitter.
