Worst road I've ever driven on was hwy 40 headed into Sedona, and second was all the rest of the roads in Arizona.

Our worst was getting a late start which caused us to pull in to the campground after dark. Trees everywhere, poor signage, and no cell signal and we got turned around. We ended up taking a loop that was far too narrow for our rig and popped a tire on a rock. We were new to RVing, too, so having that happen then still having to back in and get setup in the dark was awful. Thankfully, we had a spare tire and all the tools needed to change the tire the next day. We ended up having to replace the rim and spare tire when we got home so we took that as an opportunity to upgrade to a better quality of tire.

My fiancé and I been doing this RV life for a year now. We drove from PA to Texas very recently..beautiful scenery but when we got to Texas our generator stopped working and it was 105 degrees down there. We had to keep the rv constantly running just to keep the ac on in the front. We ended up getting a portable generator and parking places that we could run it during the day because most of the rv parks were overbooked. Before we got the new portable generator, all our food had went to waste in the fridge because it was so hot😢 that trip was the hottest experience I’ve ever had.

We started out with our towable and got a half-hour hour into a canyon on a one-lane road, with no cell service, when the oil pump on the engine blew. NO ONE stopped to help. We had to milk it to a turn-off, as there was no shoulder, then had to coast it back into town. We ended up having to replace the engine. So a getaway weekend turned into a $13000 motor replacement.

Last year, Lone Pine, CA to lake Havasu City, AZ. The freeways had been closed the day before, due to 65+ mph winds broadside to traffic. We were new to RVing, and thought we were prepared for anything, but no. This day, the wind was 45 mph straight line, and gusting to 65 mph. Tractor trailers were tipped over everywhere, and my wife's scout car was almost clobbered by a big rig head on.
When we got to our campsite, we ordered a steering stabilizer, and stayed put until we got it delivered by General Delivery.

Best day was the day we hiked Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs this year.

LOL we have a 2001 Ford F250 super duty 7.3 diesel silver. We just got back from Ocean Lakes Campground in Myrtle Beach. It did great until the ride home when it blew a boot? My husband fixed it and on the road we were again. Thank goodness my husand can pretty much fix anything. He carries all kinds of tools with us. We were pulling a Coachmen Catalina 323bdsck

We were driving across Canada’s prairies using the secondary road highways south of the TransCanada highway, so lots of farms & small towns. We tent camped in Grasslands National Park & in the morning the tire pressure idiot light came on. We had only owned the car 3ish months so didn’t know all the ins & outs of the car. We checked the tire pressures numerous times & couldn’t figure out what was wrong so we found out that the nearest Mazda dealer was in Brandon Manitoba. We made it there after hours & stayed in a private campground on the TransCanada. The tenting area was about 20’ from the TransCanada! Engine brakes every 20sec. All night long. So not a lot of sleep. Arrived at the dealership, I went into the service area & explained what the problem was. The young woman behind the counter said…”oh, just press the button to the right of the steering wheel”. It worked. 😄. We drove 4hrs out of our way to press a button. 🤦‍♀️. Could not find the answer in the manual.

We've had 2 worst travel days. The first one was when we were a couple of miles from our destination and we had our first blowout on the highway in Ohio. My husband thought he heard something but I didn't ear anything. What confirmed it was a Class A riding by us blowing their horn. We still feel grateful for them. My husband changed the tire himself. It was very stressful, I didn't think to video it. I just wanted to make sure he was safe.
The second worst travel day was going to Black Moshannon State Park in Pa. We had to climb over 5 miles straight up a mountain with no shoulder. Our transmission blew while pulling our toy hauler. We eventually made it there.
Other then those 2 days, all the rest have been great.

We have a 2005 F250, bulletproof! It’s a great truck. We pull a 2018 Grand Design Imagine 2150RB! Many great memories like finding a out of the way Rv parks with great people running them! Worst was having a code “trailer disconnect” come up!

Our worst was buying a Travel trailer our best was trading it in for a 5R and the Reese Goosebox. We left the East Coast with the TT went from Nashville found our way to Sturgis, dumping the TT and getting the 5R, went to winter in Quartzite now near Canada around Wisconsin, the tow here was 1000x less stressful with the 5R crosswinds were still an issue but not nearly as bad no sway (almost) but yeah I'll never tow a TT Long distance again, even with the RAM Cummins the TT was a handful, so much spent trying to stabilize that thing $1000.00 Hitch with the ball scale nope didn't help much.

Our worst day was when we were visiting our cousin.
Well my brother-in-law was meeting us up north in Michigan.
Well we are pulling a 37 travel trailer with a suburban towing it with 6 kids, my husband and I.
We are doing good following my brother-in-law until he realizes he missed our turn. So he decided to take us into a boat launch which had little room to turn a 37 ft jayco trailer in.
My hubby was mad at him but more mad at himself for following him. 😂
Well I kept saying we won't make the turn around the small ticket pass office stand. This boat launch was for small fishing boats not big boats.
So my dear hubby with us all saying we ain't going to make it.
He did in one - two try. It was the longest 15-18 mins we ever had towing that trailer.
Got out and back on the road without a scratch. 👍🤗
Kids and I still tell that story over and over. 😂
Michigan roads are the worst to pull a trailer on. There are so many pot holds. We felt like we were drunk drivers. Wow!!

My husband's a truck driver. I don't think it's fair for him to play this game once our family does get an RV (soon)! 🤭😆

Worse travel day ended up being 26 days!!!!
Went to start the motor home and it wouldn’t turnover. I found that we had some furry friends get into the engine bay and chewed through 60-70 wires. I had to add wire to get some of them all reconnected.

Worse travel day, well, we had one whole trip FL to NJ. Rained every day in every state. But coming home, we stopped at the Cracker Barrel in Lumberton, NC. Someone hit our steps to our 5th wheel. We could fold them up to travel. Fortunately a fellow RVer came by. He helped my husband bend them back enough that we could fold them up...
