when i get a purple belt im painting my house purple

I recently received my brown belt after my second knee surgery. Just got to refill my prescription and I’m ready to roll!

2:10 A black belt was working with me (white belt) on a body lock take-down. Next round, I'm rolling with the brown belt. I practice what I just learned, and took him down.

I hear the black belt yell "I TAUGHT HIM THAT!" Then he went back to his roll.

Later, I talked with the black belt about that. He said, "you should have seen the look on his face! He was like 'what the f? this white belt just did that?'"

I'm pretty sure he let me get to the body lock. And once I took him down, I wasn't able to do anything. But for that one brief moment, I think I did something that resembled correct.

Purple belt is pretty spot on. Something about that color makes me join warm up when they are halfway done or just skip it altogether... and yet, it doesn't feel like I'm doing it on purpose lol.

WE have a green belt at my school. Hey if it keeps someone coming back why not? As for the brown belt...spot on! lol

The idea was that anything from blue was an adult belt, you had to be 18 to get one. But there were young guys with lots of experience who busted up all the adult white belts and hung with all the blues. So they got a green, to separate them from the other white belts. We had one green belt in our academy 20 years ago and he was good, got his blue the day he turned 18. It kinda makes sense IRL, where it matters.
