As a hard of hearing person saying whole sentences is so tiring every time. I'd use "pardon" on a daily basis but it's too formal for everyday life though. For IELTS I'll use "pardon" I guess

I am not sure about this. I couldn't catch up the question and I politely asked her for a repetition in part 3 follow up questions. Unfortunately she stopped the speaking session there.
