Billy really found a whole mother lode of radio friendly rock riffs for a couple of albums in the early 80's . Memories from the days of music coming over the air waves on the boom box ! Once again, Nice Chair Dancing 🙂

Billy Squire's "Big Beat" was used on the second verse of Roxanne Roxanne by UTFO in 1983-84. The Educated Rapper was the M.C. that rapped over it. It was also used on Run DMC's "Here We Go" where DJ Jam Master Jay cut it up (R.I.P. JMJ).Respect to Billy Squire!!

Billy had some good songs back in the day, this might've been his most popular. And Happy Birthday Lovely Lady!!! 🎂🎂🎂 My wife (Shannon) and i watch your reactions and love them. She always says "she better hold out for Mr. Right, because she is too sweet for just anybody"

I saw Billy twice, in '81 & '82. In '82, he opened for Queen in Madison Square Garden. He's got a pretty good catalog of songs to react to including "The Stroke", "Too Daze Gone", "She's A Runner", "Lonely Is the Night" and "In the Dark" to name a few. There's a live video of "Lonely Is the Night" from '82 that's outstanding.
