Hi Mr. Sorenzo! Your Japanese language skill is far beyond mine even if it isn't great. But I've run into this before. "In Japanese culture, decorative English, also known as kazari eigo, is a style of using English words or phrases in a nonsensical or unusual way to decorate products or advertisements." I think the English in the song is more this, than an attempt to put anything in for foreign audiences (in this case). Sometimes bands do the latter (as another of your commenters mentioned). We'd have to ask the authors to be sure. Great job as usual. Looking forward to more!

I think you're going to enjoy dipping your toe into the Japanese rock/metal scene. It is surprisingly deep and varied with pretty much every sub-genre of music imaginable. I'll give some suggestions from various genres:

Asian Kung-fu Generation "Re-write" (90's style alternative rock with a Weezer vibe)
Scandal "Awanai Tsumori no Genkide ne" (garage rock/alternative rock)
Wagakki Band "Senbonzakura" (folk rock/metal meshing traditional Japanese instruments with modern electric instruments)
Maximum the Hormone "What's Up People" (nu-metal reminiscent of bands like Korn)
Soko ni Naru "Tenohira de Odoru" (very proggy rock; they're really doing their own thing)
Polkadot Stingray "Telecaster Stripe" (indie rock)
Unlucky Morpheus "Black Pentagram" (power metal)
Ningen Isu "Heartless Scat" (80's style metal)
One OK Rock "The Beginning" (kind of a mix between metal and emo)

That's just a primer, and there are literally dozens of other bands in different genres I could recommend.

I won't say why in this song, but sometimes Japanese bands put a verse in English so that foreign fans can sing along.
