The simple fact he told his son not to let the neighbors see him dump his bucket. He knew what they were doing was wrong!

The wife is not crying for him. She’s crying because she knows that she is next put both of them underneath the jail.

The other thing that disgusts me about the mom is, I didn’t see any tears through the whole court case about her child and children. She’s lost all four of her children and what she starts bawling her eyes out for her ridiculously awful husband that really got to me hope she never gets custody of ever again.

Another thing, The Ferriter's also caused trauma and fear in the other siblings in the home. I'm so glad they spoke up for their brother when he ran away. I just hope the children get the help they need.

The very fact that these parents thought this was an acceptable solution disqualifies them as parents. Bizarre. Cruel.

He did show emotion when he heard he’d immediately be taken into custody. The parents are only shocked because they still don’t see how they crossed the line from parenting to abuse. It doesn’t matter how bad a child’s behaviour is… you don’t cross that line. They enjoyed exerting their power over him by shaming and punishing him. Isolation is so damaging. They didn’t want to help him.

Let’s take a moment to acknowledge the courage that boy had to testify. When the person who raged against you, abused you and held total control over everything you do for years is staring you down in a court room. I don’t care who you are that has to be terrifying. After all that he was calm articulate and intelligent. Amazing! ❤

The jury got it exactly right. He’s a bad man, she’s awful too. Why would they do that to a kid?

The jury came in and said they want to hear the sisters testimony again...she cried and said she was afraid her dad would kill him by accident..thats all the jury needed to hear. On top of that we have the Maya and 8 passengers case. Seems like locking kids away are popular trials right now. Its so sad

Forced to live inside a box with a bucket and no window is a crime. BUT the verbal abuses were very difficult to hear. The poor child!
Hope that proper and professional guidance, help, and treatments will help and heal him for a brighter and healthier future.

For me, Tracy Ferriter´s shock is demonstrative of her belief that what they did to that boy is acceptable. Unbelievable!

He was offered a plea with conditions and instead he went to trial making the victim have to go through the trial and be re victimised. Hes where he should be!
