Meadow - A Shelter Game Announcement Trailer

A forum in games clothing, this online fable experience lets old and new fans of the Shelter series come together and encounter a wonderous world.

Unlike traditional titles from the Shelter franchise, in Meadow the more time spent embracing the gameplay features in the world, the more you receive. Owning any previous Shelter related title(s) or products will also unlock in-game content. The open landscape also provides ample room for exploration with new patches and additions promised.

Band together with other animals, form uneasy allies or choose to explore alone. Whatever you decide, the open park life is one you will want to immerse yourself in.

Main features:
Play as any combination of animals on land, water or air in the largest expanse of land ever created for a Shelter game.
Communicate with other animals via specially created emotes, symbols and sounds.
Use senses to discover and track other players in world.
Visit the den to choose from up to 9 different animals, over 60 skins and over 90 expressions and symbols to unlock.
The more Shelter titles and products you own, the more bonuses you unlock.

Shelter products in Meadow
Owning any Shelter game will unlock the ability to play as that animal in Meadow (e.g. owning Shelter 2 unlocks the lynx etc.)
Owning all games (no soundtracks or books included) will give you the possibility to play as the adorable bear cub from Paws.
Gain unique sound abilities if you own any combination of soundtracks.
Owning our interactive books will unlock unique 3-dimensional emotes.
For the collector and owner of the entire Shelter catalogue, you unlock the ability to play as a bird.

This is awesome! I've been waiting for a game like this for ages, and to see it set in the world of one of my favorite sim games ever (Shelter 2) is the icing on the cake. Thank you - I'll be there on day one you can guarantee it.

I have Meadow, and it's an amazing game. I feel like it really brings people together. especially how you have to figure out creative ways to speak to eachother with little symbols and emojis, I feel like I boosts the creativity in people!

I play this game and love it so much and is close to my heart and the art is gorgeous, I'm constantly taking screenshots! Except this game also makes me really upset, a bit angry and sad. The communication is really cool but when it comes to actually trying to get people somewhere like runestones, it's awful (for me at least). Sometimes it's lag which I understand but other times it's not. One time I wanted to lead a group to this one runestone (obelisk) with specific animals needed and it was really big and I spent all day trying to get the group and I kept trying to lead them to the runestone. Then they stopped. Then they split in half and the bigger group ran in the *opposite* direction and I was chasing after them and whenever they stopped, I kept saying: runestone this way. They kept ignoring me. That might have been lag but it really hurt my feelings. Another example was today actually. I found this runestone by the lake the separates the snow area from the like savannah or archipelago area? And I spent all day, lots of different people trying to get them there. The closest was two wolves, two foxes and a frog (the runestone needed any creature btw but it was big) and I told them and it took them around 40 minutes to notice me and I had to try and get them to follow me to the runestone which actually wasn't that far but they kept stopping and turning around and everything. Maybe something was happening at their end? I don't know. But after all of that and trying for over an hour, they got so close to it. SO CLOSE and then they turned around and ran away, climbing up a mountain. I followed them and at the top I kept saying where the runestone was. They ran around, nearly in circles and split off from the group and I told them where it was and they just did question marks. They knew I was trying to lead them to a runestone but they hardly ever followed me. I don't know if it was laggy or they couldn't see me but I was really upset. Eventually, they got there (after most players leaving) and then they turned around and someone else came, the runestone cracked open and it was empty. It glitched empty and no one got anything. (Also multiple times I give up trying to lead people to runestones and I don't know if it disappeared and then reappeared (pretty sure runestones disappear) but a few days later there was a runestone with he exact same requirements as the last time I was in the exact same place.) I don't want to put hate on this game because I really love it but unfortunately those experiences I listed there happen almost every time I try to play.

After knowing Wild for PS4, and have all the Shelter, I never thought Might and delight would be launched to create a dream that many have been waiting for a multiplayer sandbox in which to handle animals, a dream that is becoming closer thanks to titles like this.

I got all the all of them, I got The Lonesome Fog, Fables From The Den, Shelter, Shelter 2, Paws: A Shelter 2 game and Meadow on Steam, there are two DLC for Meadow and that's Blossom: A Meadow comic book and The Art of Shelter. Shelter 2 and Paws is on the Nintendo console, it's on the Switch console and it's called Shelter Generation, both Shelter 2 and Paws tells a story of the Lynx family.
