Hi there. Nice video, an older one but still interesting. Can I just add something. I have been playing this for a long time and hope you don't mind me saying.
When you play the Fmaj7, if you put your third finger on the 3rd fret 5th string and your little finger on the 3rd fret 4th string and play the low E string first fret with your thumb you get a fuller richer chord sound which equals the full rich sound of the Cmaj7, basically moving the whole C chord over one string to get the Fmaj7 and adding the F on the bottom E string.
I notice a lot of tutorials don't include the G on the bottom E string for the Cmaj7, which, like me, you do and I think it sounds great.
