I am what I refer to a musical purist.. I hate when people redo a song. Especially such a huge hit. You were referred to me by a friend. After listening to your version of wish you were here, i will tell you that i am without a doubt, absolutely wrong. This is hands down the greatest "redo" of any song i have ever heard in my life. As a devout Pink Floyd fan, anytime Floyd is covered you really never know what your going to hear. This was a brilliant cover. Mr. Gilmour must have been pleased or releasing it wouldnt have been possible. His stamp of approval is good enough. Fan approval though is the true test. Again this was, to quote another, "masterful"
One more thing....THANK YOU, for not changing the words up, like many do
