Winter camping with our 4 & 7 year old kids!

“Wouldn’t it be crazy if we went CAMPING in the WINTER!?” our 7 year old daughter exclaimed last week. #ad

My hope is that these little examples of turning wishful thinking into lived experiences continues the trend of them believing that anything is possible.

Pro-tip: When winter camping, heat up water before bed and fill up a Nalgene that you can place in your sleeping bag to make sure your toes stay nice and toasty!

They will never forget this, my daughter is 42 now and still remembers the snow picnic we had with hot chocolate and baked potatoes, we don’t get a lot of snow so it was even more magical.
