My issue with C4D is how recently they have been changing the entire UI and even tool names. Makes all the older tutorials harder to figure out. What are the best comprehensive C4D courses that arent out of date?

Have been using Cinema 4D before, even did the Cinema 4D Basecamp of School of Motion. But I work at a company using Blender now. So I have been learning Blender for the last months; incredible to see what you can do with free 3D software.

Should a motion designer keep using C4D for it's collaboration with After Effects? Or is Blender good enough to make the cut to free software these days? I don't want to spend time on learning software not fitted to the industry...

What do I do if I cannot afford Cinema 4D right now? And am not a student as well. School of motion provides a license but for only the duration of the course

The courses from SOM are outdated. They use a old cd4 version and the dynamics and simulations doesn't work. I did not recommended
