Watch out for this new QR code parking scam!

Rich DeMuro reports on a new way scam artists are taking advantage of QR codes for parking fees.

His colleagues are dense. His point was after using the code he had no way of verifying if it was legit because there was no receipt.

If you have to physically insert your card into the meter, how does the fake QR code read the credit card number from the meter?

I avoid areas where they charge for parking. That's why I avoid downtown areas, airports, concerts, sporting events, big events, areas with a lot of clubs, Las Vegas & New Your City.

😂telling people there is this scam going on and there is no way of check 100% if scam or not then tell people find other ways of paying.

Use GPS and confirm the location via Google map instead. QR code is too easy to fake.
