Guide for new to Stalker series, wanting to start the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience, recommended games are all three vanilla games from 2007 - Shadow of Chernobyl, 2008 - Clear Skies, 2009 - Call of Pripyat or vanilla games + mods modernizing the gameplay, which you can find in detailed description below.

IMPORTANT: if you see - Repack - means game is all in one packed in parts for your convenience, you just need to download all the parts, place them all in new folder and start unpacking from part1 with Winrar 6.0+ 64bit or 7zip latest.

Custom is so goddamn beautiful. These colors are brilliant, the shaders, that AK's position, the background sounds, everything is perfect. I really hope that S2 will be on this same level atleast. They never showed us gameplay in stormy weather so it'll be quite interesting to see how would swamps look during rain.
Custom makes me feel nostalgic somehow. It's about colors i think.

Спасибо, уже пол года я создаю короткометражный фильм по Сталкеру и после таких видео каждый раз подчеркиваешь для себя что-то новое. В данном случае, я понял, что в моем фильме очень не хватает звуков ворон и воды. Будем работать дальше над звуковой составляющей.

Згоден, занурення та атмосфера неймовірні! Ще дуже подобається, що у грі немає жінок, тобто гра, саме про чоловіків і для чоловіків.
Але на барі грала пісня, котру співала дівчина з глосом, схожим на Еванесенс. Так ось - ця сумна пісня, дуже вклеювалась в атмосферу гри. Сталкери тягнуть по чарці, слухають пісню і сумують, і ти сумуєш разом з ними. Бо кожний гравець, котрий проникся грою, сам стає частиною цієї гри та головним героєм. )))

This would be so nice, with some of the features from mods like Artifact Transmutation... Being able to set up a small camp or outpost, i need a mod where I can do stuff when im not fighting like maintain a small outpost or fight with bandits
