💰 - - - AWARDS - - - 💰
1st Prize: $500
2nd Prize: $300
3rd Prize: $200
Player's Choice: $100
Judge's Choice: $100
✅ - - - ELIGIBILITY - - - ✅
→ You must have a valid PayPal account to receive your award.
→ Your mod must be uploaded to Nexus Mods by 11:59 PM on October 13, 2024.
Include “Rusty’s ModJam 2024” as the suggested category of your mod or in the title.
→ You cannot have worked on your mod in any significant way prior to 10:00 AM on October 11, 2024. This is mostly on the honor system, but if you’re worried about a timezone conversion or something please join the Discord and provide some kind of proof of when you’ve begun work on your mod.
→ All mods, whether they be code, models, textures, whatever the case may be, must be wholly your own creation. In the case that you’re working on a team or want to use community assets/mods by other creators you MUST CREDIT THEM and PROVIDE PROOF THEY ALLOWED YOU TO USE THEIR WORK. This is primarily for transparency when working in a team or when including/using certain tooling like ModEngine. In the case of supplementing your mod with premade community assets like animation retargets from a public repository or model ports with an open license, it’s extremely important you credit the creators involved, yourself included.
→ Use common sense to determine how much of your mod is premade assets vs new creations. For example, if you’re submitting an armor port, it should primarily be your own creation made during the ModJam—not an existing port you previously made or downloaded that you modified slightly. This will be up to the judge’s discretion for the most part.
→ You may not use any AI-Generated content of any kind. This includes AI content that is considered predatory such as AI imagery and voice over. However, using LLM’s like ChatGPT for assistance with code or logic is allowed. If you ask an AI for help with your mod idea you’re probably cringe and won’t get far though.
Your time starts now. Good luck.
