Hello Pedal Nerds! Here's an update on the hottest MIDI Controller now in the market!! The M-Vave Chocolate.

The M-Vave Chocolate is a wireless MIDI Controller that sends MIDI messages via Bluetooth. But, we can also use it in "Wired Connection" using the quarter inch TRS Out on the rear panel. Watch the full video to know more on this setup.

Since the TRS Out of the M-Vave Chocolate is 6.35mm, we need an adapter that will convert the 3.5mm plug (mentioned above) to 6.35mm, I used a Ugreen Adapter.

My MIDI Cable Setup is this:
1) 5pin to 5pin Midi (Both Male)
2) 5pin Female to 3.5mm TRS Male Cable
3) 3.5mm TRS Female to 6.35mm TRS Male Cable

Much better if you could buy a 6.35mm TRS to 5pin MIDI Cable right away so that, you don't need the additional accessories I've mentioned above and you can just plug the devices straight to each other.

My Chocolate doesnt work at all for Midi even though its brand new. When first set up to CubeSuite it said it needed to update, but as you know the update system is flakey - It kept getting stuck at 5%. At some point it said it updated, but I can't get Midi to work on anything via Midi A or Midi B adapters, or Midi cable to TRS. It only works to send computer commands which I don't need. Mvave is useless and not helpful. I wish there was some way to reset the Chocolate back to original factory firmware as I think its their firmware update process that messed it up. Should have known price was too good to be true.
