We spent three months there a few years back and we could retire there very easily.
They even have free bus lines in downtown for tourists. Also, most of them can speak good English and they are very friendly.

Yes, kl is on the rise.Been in kl during my student time in th 80s the city was already bustling but with little skycrappers around, but life still enjoyable.But in the 90s the city started to develop rapidly with the opening of commonwealth games in 1998.Since then the city never sleeps to grow to date😊

I would say this is one of the best videos I have seen pertaining to KL. Nicely edited. I believe that with further editing, it could be compared to the late Anthony Bourdain travel series. Your script is v good John. And your knowledge of where to stay in KL is pretty good. Chow Kit used to be a run down n less developed area of KL in the 70s, but KL City Hall has done a good job in sprucing it up. Again well done and keep up the good work.

Great video! TBH, I’ve visited KL a couple of times and never found it as interesting as other SE Asian cities. Both times, I stayed in hotels at KLCC. But it’s been about 10 y since my last visit and this vlog of yours, together with some more recent vloggers’ videos, and KL is now back on my list of cities to visit again! Thanks!
