In this video I will use method 1 of Kirchhoff's rule to find the line-currents I1=?, I2=?, of an unbalanced Y-Y circuit given the Y-source voltages of the and the y-load impedances.

It's so genuinely nice to see your dedication for making these videos Mr.Biezen, I could only imagine the work you put into making this (given it's part-time), truly inspirational, and thank you so much for all that you do, we're lucky to have people like you, huge respect and may God bless you!

I am amazed by this channel; there is such a broad number of topics that are covered and specific problems as well, withing these topics. This is the case, even though the views per video make up a quite small number... This channel is absolutely amazing. I'll keep watching these!!

Almost the best tutorial video series over the Internet!
Michel is better than the best professors.

Why we cannot say that Ia = Van / ZA ??

sir in many questions I had seen inductors instead of voltage sources in this 3 phase 3 wire star connected load . Is this a same thing ?? please tell

Professor, one important question. Why for loop 1, the 120<0° is positive?
Loop rule basics state that if the clockwise loop touches the negative terminal of the 120<0°, it should be negative, same applies to the 120<120° source. It should be positive

Excuse me sir, I am wondering is it only 3 phase 3 line star connection unbalanced load need use this method to calculate?

How can (10+j5) divided by 10 can be calculate like that? I think we might turn it into polar first??

Professor, I heard that for a Y-connected source, the neutral wire will keep the load phase voltages equal even if one of the source voltages fails. Could you explain why that is true? Thanks.

Sir, why do I need to use mesh analysis instead of a simple KVL in finding the line currents?

Sir, I noticed that there is no neutral current in this example compared to your unbalanced Y-load example. This example has only 3 wires while the other has 4 wires, does this mean that it is not needed to solve for the neutral current for this type of problems? Hoping for you respond sir.

This problem is easier solved using Millman's theorem.
